This trailer is custom-made by a customer in Mongolia to transport stones and gravel, with a load of 80 tons.
At the beginning, the inquiry sent by the customer was for a rear dump trailer, and the length of the trailer was required to be between 12 meters and 14 meters, and the load was very large, and it had to bear 80 tons of goods. Our team communicated with the customer for a week, helped the customer to change the drawings many times, and informed the customer of the advantages and disadvantages of this trailer. In the end, the customer gave up the plan to buy a rear dump trailer and changed it to this side dump trailer.
The rear dump trailer is also a very easy to use trailer, but if the length of the trailer exceeds 10 meters, there is a certain risk in the trailer. For example, try not to lift when the wind is strong, because the trailer will be at risk of being blown over by the wind. In addition, if the ground is loose or the ground is uneven, try not to unload as much as possible, and there is also a risk of dumping. There is no problem with the rear dump trailer transporting 80 tons of cargo. Our factory has produced three-axle 80-ton rear dump trailers, 4-axle 80-ton and 4-axle 100-ton rear dump trailers, and 5-axle rear dump trailers. 6-axle rear dump trailer, etc. Although the quality of the trailer itself is very good, strong and sturdy, we will also clearly explain to the customer the possible impact of external factors on the trailer.
The trailer length originally designed was 12 meters, and the height of the fence was 2 meters. Later, our engineer gave a lot of advice to the customer, because the height of the 2-meter fence is not as easy to use as 1.8 meters when unloading, and it is safer. The final size : Trailer length is 14 meters, width is 2.5 meters, and fence height is 1.8 meters.
This kind of side dump trailer can be turned to the left or to the right according to the different unloading sites, which reduces the limitations of the site. Our factory uses Q345 high-strength steel, with thickened and reinforced chassis, heavy-duty mechanical suspension, and 20-ton axles. When the trailer is fully loaded, there will be no deformation or damage. Our experienced engineers can clearly understand every vulnerable position of the trailer, so these parts will be reinforced and thickened during production. The accessories we use are all famous Chinese brands with quality assurance.
Our factory uses the 150 model Chinese famous brand hydraulic oil top. This 80-ton side dump trailer can use 6 hydraulic oil tops plus 1 moving position hydraulic oil top, or 7 hydraulic oil tops and 1 moving position hydraulic oil top, which is mainly Depends on the length of the trailer. The trailer length for this order is 14 meters, so we installed 7 hydraulic oil tops plus 1 moving position hydraulic oil top.
The two oil caps at the front end of the trailer are slightly lower than the other oil caps, because they prevent the truck from colliding with the oil caps, and also make the trailer turn more smoothly. If you want to make the oil roof with different heights to lift and lower at the same speed, this can reflect the technical level of an engineer, and ordinary factories will not have such a level. Before our trailers leave the factory, engineers will make adjustments to ensure that each oil top lifts and lowers exactly the same.
